This well-written book can help parents with practical advice on how to raise kids to be successful people. Lots of real-life examples of great kids and specific tips and strategies to deal with little kids issues to teens' crises. A great toolbox for every parent's needs.
This was an great read. As someone who is preparing to become a parent and has worked with children and youth for many years, I found the "conversations" insightful and practical. I would recommend this book to anyone who is looking to expand their knowledge and understanding on how parents and mentors can help foster a healthy and confident child given the various challenges and pressures presented by today's culture.
Based on years of experience and study, Mr. McIndoe outlines what makes Kids Great; presents the common parenting styles and new options to consider. Excellent examples are provided.
A must read for parents and persons who mentor, counsel or influence young people. I only wish this resource had been available when I was raising my children.
